Good restaurants in London
These are some of my favorite restaurants in London for a fab evening or romantic dinner in London. Enjoy!
- This is the place to have a romantic dinner with a view over London. Dine at the Oxo Tower. Address: Oxo Tower Wharf, Barge House St, South Bank. Great place and great food.
- Have a lovely evening at the Japanese restaurant Matsuri. Have a great sushi or teppan-yaki. In Teppan-yaki, fresh fish, meat and vegetables are cooked by a chef on an iron grill in front of the customers. Excellent food. Do not miss the Ice Cream Fire ball dessert. - Excellent meat at the Argentine restaurant Casa Malevo, 23 Connaught street. http://casamalevo.com/
- We had a dinner at London oldest restaurant Rules. And it was fab! Visit Rules for a memorable evening. Rules was established by Thomas Rule in 1798 making it the oldest restaurant in London. It serves traditional British food. Address: 35 Maiden Ln.
- Lunch at Harrods Sea Grill is a must when I am in London. Fantastic fish and a glass of wine. Life is good at the Sea Grill!
- Listen to an opera performance while dining a mediterranean dinner at the Sarastro opera restaurant. Address: 126 Drury Ln. The food is ok and the singing is great.
- Duck and Waffle on the 40th floor with a gorgeous view of London. Address: Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsgate.
- The food was ok and it was interesting to visit Shakespeare´s Globe Theatre. The brasserie also had a magnificent view of the river.
- It is not actually a restaurant but a good place for a light lunch with dessert. Patisserie Valerie, address 15 York House Cumberland Place. And they serve lovely cakes, and scones.
